Adam Levine couldn’t hide his annoyance after a fan rushed onto the stage and hugged him, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The incident happened during Maroon 5’s concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday as the 42-year-old singer performed the group’s hit Sunday Morning.
In a TikTok video uploaded by Luis Penaloza, the singer was visibly taken aback when a woman – who was wearing a mask – jumped on the stage to hug him before being taken away by security.
‘This lady jumped on stage during Maroon 5’s performance,’ the user wrote. ‘Adam Levine was not having it.’
Adam appeared to shout the word ‘f**k’ in anger as he recoiled in disgust and attempted to shake off the encounter while walking to the other end of the stage.
The user captioned the video: ‘Adam Levine was a whole mood yesterday’.
Another video from YouTuber Barry King showcased the incident from a higher vantage point as bandmembers witnessed the stage invasion.

As the band kept playing, Adam skipped a few lines before getting back into the song.

The singer did not address the situation on social media afterward.
After some fans claimed the singer needed to be more humble in his reaction, another stated: ‘He doesn’t need to be humbled. a random person invaded his personal space during a pandemic… he acted the right way.’
